Hands-on coding bootcamps for young (or not-so young) people in Newcastle. No prior experience needed - just curiosity and a willingness to learn.
Pay What You Can - Free Places AvailableI grew up below the poverty line and left school at 15. No qualifications. No safety net. Just a knack for writing code that I'd taught myself from a library book.
Tech changed my life completely. It gave me opportunities I never would have had otherwise. But I got lucky - I had access to books, a computer at home, and time to teach myself.
Not everyone has that access. And that's not fair. Talent and potential aren't limited by circumstance - opportunity is.
That's why these bootcamps exist. That's why they're pay-what-you-can. That's why we're partnering with local youth charities to reach the young people who need it most.
Because every kid deserves the chance that tech gave me.
We group learners by age and maturity level to create the best learning environment - but everyone has access to the same flexible curriculum.
Learn alongside peers at a similar life stage. Smaller cohorts with age-appropriate examples and projects you'll find engaging.
Whether you're in sixth form, college, or just getting started in the working world - learn with others navigating similar life transitions.
Adults looking to transition into tech. Learn alongside others making the same career pivot, with tailored support for your specific needs.
The age ranges are just for grouping - you can start at any module regardless of your age. Got a 9-year-old who's already self-taught? Jump into Module 2. A 19-year-old complete beginner? Module 1 is perfect for you.
Our curriculum is modular - take it as far as you want, skip what you already know, or focus on specific skills.
Start from scratch. Learn what code is, how it works, and write your first apps. No experience needed.
Build complete web applications. Learn frontend, backend, databases, and how they all work together.
Create professional projects that showcase your skills. Get guidance on what employers want to see.
Start where it makes sense for you: Complete beginners start at Module 1. Already know the basics? Jump into Module 2. Just need help building a portfolio? Module 3 is there for you. Take all three, or just what you need.
No boring lectures. You'll be writing code from day one, building real projects, and solving real problems.
Limited cohort sizes mean you get personal attention, support, and guidance tailored to your learning style.
Build things you can show off. Every project is designed to teach you practical skills you'll actually use.
Beyond just coding - we'll help with CV building, portfolio development, and understanding your career options.
The bootcamp is just the beginning. Get continued support and guidance as you progress in your tech journey.
Join a network of learners and mentors. Tech is better when we support each other.
